Corporate Governance ~ 
Focusing on The Decision-Makers

Anna has extensive governance experience, including:

  • Providing training sessions for Boards of Directors, and/or Officers, and/or Management (1/2 day and full day sessions)

    1. Basic training on legal compliance and risk management issues, including fiduciary responsibilities​

    2. High-level training on policy governance

  • Planning and facilitating strategic planning sessions, as well as preparing preliminary questionnaires, strategic plans, and operational plans. 

  • Creating governance documents, such as by-laws, terms of reference, policies, codes of conduct, governance checklists, Board calendars, and due diligence workplans

  • Advising on directors and officers' liability matters, the rights of members​, governance structure changes (e.g.,  changes to membership classes and Board composition) ​

  • ​Assisting with conflict management and relationship issues  between directors and/or members and/or management

Anna is a true GovernanceGeekTM! She is currently an appointed member of the Imagine Canada Standards Council. The volunteer Standards Council is responsible for overseeing the Imagine Canada Standards and Accreditation Program. 

Anna is currently pursuing her GPC.D designation with Governance Professionals of Canada.
